Brandy Wimberly, is an Associate Certified Coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), to help career driven professionals define their authentic approach to leadership. Brandy blends her passion for organizational development to coach and mentor forward thinking professionals. She works with Global Leadership Accelerator participants and presents insightful topics to build the skill sets of WOCIP members. Those who have the pleasure of working with Brandy, say that she is an intuitive listener that captures the thoughts of clients and reframes them in a way that sparks thought into action.
Brandy Wimberly is a change agent that offers leadership, compassion and innovation to communities and organizations. In 2008, she pursued a master’s degree in Human Resources Management and set sights to explore a career journey in the federal sectors. This led her to explore leadership positions in HR IT and Workforce Development. Each position allows her to discover a core set of transferable skills that makes her successful in any role. More importantly, it gives her the courage to welcome change with confidence.
Accomplishments:
Developed and implemented an innovative approach to help employees influence organizational change.
Created a leadership training series for Team Leads in the Federal IT space to support effective communication, leadership, and vision setting.
Received several honors and awards for leading remote work efforts, launching website upgrades, and transitioning orientation programs to accommodate an hybrid work environment.
