"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together"
~ African Proverb.
It's been my experience that anyone who is working on being the best version of themselves have a solid foundation in and within themselves to begin that work. We are all geniuses in our own right, and have natural abilities to get where we're going on our own.
The elevate, shift, or transition to "what's next"; however is the work that can be and is often better accomplished in community ... with a partner ... with that non-judgemental, supportive third party who will champion your cause and hold you accountable along the way.
Coaching is that partnership.
BENEFITS OF COACHING:
Having a partner
Client-focused, and client-driven conversation
Keep you on track towards achieving your highest goals or intentions
Safe space
Objective listening — not your family, not your friend, not going to judge you or hold anything against you
Walking with you, not behind you, or in front of you
On the journey with you, wherever it may take you
HOW WE WORK TOGETHER:
Coaching is a commitment. It’s about what you want, and being willing to invest in your growth and your future. You’re ready for change, and you’re ready to move forward.
The Energy Leadership™ Index Assessment is a tool I use that’s the perfect starting point. It’s a comprehensive survey that produces a 10-page report, looking at all areas of your life to help us hone in on what best to focus on, or where you want to take the coaching together.
The typical program for individual coaching is eight 60-minute sessions, every 2 weeks, for the sake of continuity and momentum. We check in along the way by email to see how we’re progressing. Takes about 4 months to see results over time.
(911/Emergency sessions are available only to former or existing clients)
“I was in a state of career transition – both physically and mentally. Navigating an organization integration while contemplating where and if I still fit within the new org. For the first time in my career, I felt lost. The changes shook my confidence and sense of value in the organization. Many executive peers departed and I was displaced from my previous role with little/no explanation or plan. It was most helpful to hear the perspective from someone who could relate to my situation – as a woman, as a professional, and as one who has learned to thrive in transition. Tamarra was able to “call me out” and also validate my thoughts in an engaging and fun manner. I valued the real talk advice and the practical resources to continue to hard work of self-exploration and self-management in an ever-changing work environment.”
